Club Cochise 14's Thunder        Cochise 14s Thunder took 4th place at this weekend's tournament held at Palo Verde High School. In their first match, the Thunder took on Club Cactus 14-2s. Strong serving led the girls to an impressive 25-6, 25-8 victory. Kaila Martinez had 9 aces in the match. In the second match of the day, the Thunder once again faced a Club Cactus team, this time the 14-1 team. The first game of this match see-sawed back and forth, and the Thunder team emerged victorious 25-23. Club Cactus captured game two, 25-21. The third game was a tough fought battle that Club Cactus won, 15-13. In the final match of the day, Thunder was up against Arizona Storm. The Storm team cruised to an easy victory first game, 25-12. Thunder bounced back in the second, 25-21. The final game was extremely close, but in the end the Storm team's well-placed serves proved too much for the Thunder, and Storm took the victory 15-12.
